Jarosław Wójcik

Jarosław Wójcik works between art, conservation and technology. His practice includes mosaics, stained glass, reliefs, sculpture, architectural projects and CNC-supported stone objects.

Technology and patents

Technological work

He works at 3dArtech as a technologist and constructor. He is a co-author of three research projects in innovative solutions for acoustics, construction and industry. With the team, he is currently working on an innovative device for producing building prefabricates with parametric geometry. He is a co-author of six patents granted in 2023-2024, connected with machine construction, technology, 3D printing and acoustics.

Conservation

Studies and heritage

Interdisciplinary studies at the Faculty of Conservation of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, completed with a diploma in 1987, enabled him to take part in projects combining technology and art. He worked on Gothic wall paintings and 12th-century archaeological monuments, and participated in projects connected with the protection of cultural heritage.

Body of work

Sculpture, mosaics, stained glass and architecture

In the 1990s he created sculptures and monuments in bronze and granite, architectural projects and interior designs. His body of work includes mosaics, stained glass, fused-glass reliefs and stone objects realized with CNC technology.
